London Destination:Camden Market

The other month I went to London to visit Camden Market for the first time and OMG food heaven! This place has everything food, from burgers and Greek food to Yorkshire burritos, Indian cuisine and liquid nitrogen ice cream. If you are vegan or vegetarian not to worry there are plant based food stools there too. For example, there's sushi, falafels, plant based burgers etc. If your a student or someone who is trying to save money, Camden Market is a great place to come to get your hands on free samples. My sister and her boyfriend did this when they were students. Here is the Camden Market website for more information on all the food and drink you can get: https://www.camdenmarket.com/food-drink  Camden Market is also a great place for shopping to find unique accessorise, trinkets, clothing, artwork etc. You would also be supporting businesses around there.

With all the food choices it was hard to pick what to have. I ended up having the grilled pita with the Jerusalem chicken filling with cheese, salad and dressing which was so delicious, as you can see from the picture below. I even got given a free side of chips (french fries) and I don't even know why, no complaints from me. 😂

For dessert I stumbled across Chin Chin Labs and I was so excited because I wanted to go there for ages, but I didn't know it was in Camden. They are best known for selling Europe's first liquid nitrogen ice cream, which I didn't actually try because I wanted to try there hot chocolate which was INSANE!, as you can see from the picture below. There was a choice between there normal hot chocolate and the vegan hot chocolate. I tried the vegan one because it said it had essence of raspberry and apricot. I didn't get too much of a hint, but it was extremely delicious and rich and probably the best hot chocolate I've ever had. I'm glad I got the vegan version instead of the original because my mum got that one and it was delicious, but it was a lot thicker and rich which made it more sickly. However, if your stomach can cope with that then go for it! On top of the hot chocolate was marshmallow fluff that was then blow torched. It was so creamy and fluffy, which is why I call this more of a dessert than a drink.

Now to finish off the day I couldn't leave without a Doughnut Time. For those of you who don't know Doughnut Time originated from Australia and came to London a couple of years ago. They are known for having amazing flavours and unique aesthetics and fun names for their doughnuts. For example, the first one I had was about a year ago at Easter time and it was called 'Egg Sheeran'. It was filled with chocolate and topped with icing and mini eggs, DELISH! This time I had a 'Sia Later' doughnut, which was red velvet flavoured with icing and raspberries on top, SOOO GOOD! Doughnut Time isn't actually in the Camden area but there are quite a few around London, for example, there's one in Convent Garden, Soho, Shoreditch etc.

Overall, Camden Market is a great place to come to if you are visiting London. I hope this short description has been a good guide for you to see what a part London can offer you.
