The Find Artisan Coffee House and Kitchen

Falafel Salad

'The Find' and what a find it was! Based in Regent Street, Cheltenham is where you'll find (there I go again 😂) a unique, delicious, independent fresh coffee house and kitchen. Serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and afternoon tea you will be leaving with a very satisfied appetite.

I have been here a few times and the food has always been up to high standard and it has a cosy and casual, yet fine dining atmosphere. What I mean by this is that the upstairs is laid out into two sections. One room contains casual, slightly slouchy seating which circulates around individual small tables and has some stereotypical cafe seating at the back. This is great for socialising with friends or simply grabbing a quick bite on your own. This space is also useful if you want a great place to study. The room opposite has a restaurant feel, as there is plush seating and bigger tables and is spaced as you would see a typical restaurant setting. This is perfect for more sophisticated eating out, or having a celebratory meal. For example, my family and I celebrated here after myself and my sister ran the Race for Life. Speaking of this, The Find does organise a celebratory atmosphere, fit for any occassion, such as Birthdays, a Hen Do, or even a business event. Downstairs has more of a cafe vibe, e.g. as you would see in Starbucks. This space fits alongside the counter where you can see some of the goodies you can get, such as their lush homemade bakes!

The food here is very authentic and rustic and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. They also deliver for work purposes, but you do have to let them know 48 hours in advance.

This time round my mum and I had the falafel salad with halloumi (see picture above) and I feel like some salads can be quite bland, but this had an explosion of flavour and an array of different textures. On another occassion, my friend and I have had the fish finger sandwhich and that was so so yummy. My sister had the butternut salad, which she thoroughly enjoyed. It doesn't actually say on the menu, but you can ask to have an egg on top if you wanted to, like my sister did. My dad had the bacon club sandwich, which was packed full and he could hardly fit it in to his mouth. This may be because he has an unusally small mouth or because you get 3 thick slices inbetween and not just 2.

I have yet to try their breakfasts and afternoon tea, but OMG when I went on their website, I found pictures of their afternoon teas and they look amazing, definately need to organise a time to go and try this! Cakes, scones, truffles, sandwiches, crossaints urghhhh need to TRY THIS! I have however tried their cruffins (mixture of crossaint and muffin) and wow, just wow!
