Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Eleanor Jones, I am 21 years old and have many passions that I want to share with you, as you can see from the categories above.

I'll start off by telling you a little bit about myself. I am a creative person, having studied Art, Media and iMedia (IT) at A-Level. I then went on to do further study at college doing a Foundation in Art and Design, I learnt a lot from this, but it was very intense. I then had a place in Bath to study textiles at University, however I changed my mind about a month before I was supposed to go because I suddenly realised it wasn't what I fully wanted to do. I don't know how to describe the feeling I had, I guess you could call it an epiphany. Also studying art and applying creative skills takes a lot of time up and personally I found that it was consuming me and I didn't have enough time to do other passions that I love. Therefore, taking a year out and focusing on other things that I enjoy, such as cooking and baking, media, reading, fitness etc. has helped me along the way to find what I really want to do. Therefore, I now am going to study Marketing, Advertising and Branding at University. This will balance my life better as it will be creative, but academic as well. It will teach me how to market for different companies, but also will teach me skills in how to market for personal projects. For instance, in the future I can use marketing for my artwork or for any other passion I enjoy. This blog is a passion and I have enjoyed creating films this year on Adobe software, so it all contributes. I feel like I have rambled in this paragraph, so lets move on. 😂

Now let's tell you about the meaning behind the name E.magine. Basically I spent ages trying to come up with a title for a blog that had so many different factors to it and one day the name just popped into my head. I decided to replace the 'I' from the word 'imagine' with an 'E', just because my first name starts with that letter. Then the word 'imagine' means to visualise something and capture a moment in time and explore. Therefore, I saw E.magine fitting for a blog that has many different passions involved.

Think that is everything for now, I may add to this later, but I hope you will enjoy coming on this journey with me and E.magine where this blog will take you!

Homemade Granola

It's becoming increasingly popular in our daily breakfasts and even dessert. I have recently loved adding this delicious oat, fruit and sweet blend into my food, especially smoothie bowls! Homemade Elderflower Cordial

Spring is slowly heading into summer in the UK at the mo, but as I am writing it is currently pouring down with rain and is very cold - classic. To be fair though it has been hot and sunny in the last few weeks, if you count 25℃ as hot, haha only in England. Anyway, I thought I'd share with you on how to make some homemade elderflower cordial, because it's that time of year and we actually have elderflower growing in our garden, which is such a revelation because we are not natural green-fingered people at home. If you don't have an elderflower tree/bush at home, then why not take a walk, you'd be surprise how much elderflower there is outside your front door!
