Peanut Butter M&Ms Spread

Are you a nutter for peanut butter, then you have come to the right place! Bringing you a version of this delicious concoction with a twist. I first had the idea of making some homemade peanut butter for my sister's birthday, as she is crazy for it and then I remembered she loves the Peanut Butter M&Ms chocolate. This gave me the idea to combine the two to make a spread and I have to say it went down very well! Unfortunately not with me, as I can't stand peanut butter, which is so annoying 😂. Down below is the recipe if you want some of this 'edible goodness'!

Ingredients:

🥜300g Blanched peanuts
🥜1tsp Fine sea salt
🥜Groudnut oil
🥜Agave Nectar
🥜165g Peanut M&Ms bag

Instructions:

Step 1: Turn your oven on at 180℃ fan. Get a tray out and tip your blanched peanuts on top. Make sure to spread them out evenly and then once your oven is ready pop them in for 8-10 minutes. Make sure that you check regularly and shuffle them about a bit so that the ones on the edge don't burn. When they are golden brown take them out of the oven and let them cool completely.

Step 2: Once your peanuts are cool, get your food processor out and tip them in, along with the salt. Now mix until it is somewhat smooth.

Step 3:  Now add a dash of groundnut oil and a bit of agave nectar and mix. Keep adding the oil until it is smooth. This is how you make normal peanut butter so stop here if you just want that, but make sure to use 400g blanched peanuts instead of 300g.

Step 4: Next get your Peanut M&Ms and put them in a bowl and pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Now grab a spoon and use the back to crush the M&Ms. If they are still really hard, keep putting it in for 20-30 seconds until they are not fully melted but soft enough to crush with a back of the spoon.

Step 5: Now put 3/4 of the M&Ms in the food processor and pulse until they are in little bits.

Step 6:  Once that is done pour your mixture in a bowl and stir in the rest of the M&Ms with a spoon, so that there is more of a crunch and burst of chocolate when you bite in to it.

Step 7: Make sure that your glass jar and lid is sterilised by either putting it in the dishwasher or in the oven at 120℃ for 10-15 minutes and leave to cool. Once cooled pour in your mixture and enjoy your Peanut Butter M&M spread.
