Celebrating 500 years since his death, Leonardo Da Vinci's genius work is worth seeing! I went to this exhibtion last Thursday at the Queen's Gallery in Buckingham Palace. I didn't even know that the Queen had her own gallery, so cool! This means you will be kinda taking away a Royal experience and seeing one of the world's finest artists work. If you do go you will be witnessing his biggest collection in over 65 years and there's over 200 pieces of his drawings from the Royal Collection.     You will be getting an insight into Leonardo's interests and the general way in which his mind worked. There are three big rooms that explore his portraiture work and close up details of his sketches that reflects upon the movement of his subject. Leonardo is known for being a genius and was known as one of the greatest scientists of the Renaissance era. As you walk through the exhibition, you will come across some of his drawings that contain notes on the side...

Muse Brasserie Restaurant

Image
A unique, independent restaurant located at 'St George's Place' in the heart of Cheltenham town, the Muse Brasserie restaurant is a fusion of European food, mixed with an English and Indian cuisine, who knew that those combinations would marry so well! Recently opened in May 2019, I can see it's going to be a high flyer in the Gloucestershire community, in fact I think it already is. It began with award winning French chef director, Frank Grillet. He found his love of food at an early age and accomplished with exceptional results in cookery school, which lead him to working in a variety of 'Michelin Star' retaurants around France, to him eventually being a second chef a one. With experiences and relations, he has adapted unique, culinary qualities in his cooking. He has teamed up with a partner, which is where the Indian infusion comes into place. When I went his business partner (chef) came up to us at the end of the meal to ask if everything was satisfact...

Banana French Toast with Nutella

Image
French toast is a classic yummy treat to have for breakfast and I feel ashamed to say that I haven't had a lot of it in my life and god knows why because it's so delish! I've always been more of a pancake kinda gal and my favourite toppings are nutella with bananas, so I then thought why not have a banana french toast mixture with nutella for the filling, yum yum! Below is the recipe and I hope you enjoy. There's enough mixture for two slices of bread. Ingredients: 1 Very Ripe Banana 1tsp Vanilla Extract 140ml Milk 1 Egg Sprinkle of Nutmeg Something to grease the pan (butter or I use coconut oil spray) Nutella Roasted Chopped Hazelnuts (optional) Instructions: Step 1: First get your banana, if it is already very ripe skip this next step. If your banana is yellow like mine was, get a knife and make a couple of slits in the middle of the banana with the skin still on and put it in the microwave for 50 seconds to 1 minute or until it star...

Yesterday (Film Review)

Image
Star Rating: ✩✩✩✩ A romantic comedy centered around a world where the 'The Beatles' don't exist and only one man, Jack Malik (Himesh Patel) remembers them! Struggling to make it in the music world, Jack jumps at the chance to bring back some of the world's greatest music by going solo and re-educating the human race with what it had lost 'Yesterday'. However would he risk giving up being the legends that were 'The Beatles' for the women he loves?! Director, Danny Boyle and screenwriter, Richurd Curtis combine all elements that portray into a romantic comedy, love, laughter, silliness and unique whacky storylines. This story may entail the mystery of 'The Beatles' disappearing from life along with some other significant factors, such as Coca Cola and more importantly Harry Potter, ummm, sorry, WHAT?!?! However, we have a romantic side to the storyline between musician Jack and his manager Ellie (Lily James), who have grown up together...
